I have a 4 shot pano that I was able to stitch together by adding a bunch of control points, and it looks okay as a single photograph, but when I put it in Pano2VR, it won't load properly - you can't really look up or down, and it's rather distorted otherwise. I can upload the files to DropBox or whatever, could anyone take a look at what I may be doing wrong on this? All my others work fine in Pano2VR, but for some reason this one just won't load properly. Thanks in advance!

Trevor, I would guess that the image that you input to Pano2VR doesn't have pixel dimensions in the exact ratio 2:1 - e.g. as in 6000x3000.  You need to output a full 360x180 equirectangular image from PTGui.

Oh yeah, that's totally it! It's strange though, I've done a bunch of these, and they all work fine, but it's only this one where the dimensions are a little shy of the 2:1 ratio. The one I am working on right now that looks just fine is 11,052 pix wide and 5,526 tall, so 2:1 exactly.

The one that is giving me the issue is 11,075 wide and 5,212 tall, so it's not quite the 2:1. I just restitched it with different control points and it looks like it fixed it, it's back to a 2:1 ratio again.

Thanks again for the help!

Well, a width of an odd number of pixels can never give you a 2:1 aspect ratio.  The control points are not really relevant.  All you have to do is set the output to 360x180, which is conveniently done by selecting the Projection menu on the Panorama Editor window and then clicking the option "Spherical: 360x180 equirectangular".

A possible explanation could be a lack of control points near the edges
of the source images, causing misalignments resulting in a hole in the
zenith of the panorama. PTGui then decides that it's not a fully
spherical panorama and doesn't set a 2:1 aspect ratio.
