When I run "winget update --all" at a command prompt, I get a message that four packages have version numbers that cannot be determined. When I run "winget list", which shows all installed programs with their version number, I find that one of the four programs for which the version as reported as unknown is PTGui. The other three programs that report as unknown are all old - Thumbsplus and the drivers for my Epson 3800 printer and Polaroid Sprintscan scanner, whereas PTGui is the latest version.

It doesn't really matter, as PTGui runs without any problem and I can use its internal update check to see if updates are available. OS is Windows 11 with current updates installed.

Here's the output I see. I've chopped out the other ~300 lines of output from winget list. Do other people see the same from running winget list?

PS C:\Windows\System32> winget update --all
No installed package found matching input criteria.
4 package(s) have version numbers that cannot be determined. Use --include-unknown to see all results.
PS C:\Windows\System32> winget list

Hi Nick,

I think this is because there is no VERSION resource embedded in the
.exe. I'll add that to the wish list.

Nevertheless PTGui will not support being updated by Winget, because the
download is behind a login (which is on purpose).

Kind regards,
