I've found a problem stiching gigapixel panorama:360 degree, 72 photos taken every 5 degree, Focal lenght 200 mm.

First - Align to grid:

Panorama Editor:

Generate Control Points and Align Images:

As you can see - FAILED:

Take a look at control points - everything is fine:

Lens Settings - Focal lenght 64mm? WTF? Should be 200 mm...

The same place, but photos at Focal lenght 94 mm - no problem with stiching:

Do you have aby ideas how to stich 72 photos to 360 degree panorama?

There should be no problem. Most likely you have control points between
non-adjacent images. If re-initalizing the project does't help try to
restore focal length from EXIF and disable FoV from optimization on
Optimizer tab, then re-optimize. If all this doesn't help, please
provide your project file for download somewhere. Just the .pts without
the images for the time being.

Hi Marek,

Could you try Project -> Initialize and Optimize?

Even if that solves the problem I'd still like to take a look; I'd
appreciate if you could make the images available for download.

Initialize and Optimize doesn't help.

You can download project and images:

Marek, See my project file at http://ge.tt/9bTDCCc/v/0 .

I simply reset all the parameters (lens and y,p,r) to their already known approximate values and optimized.  Deleted worst points and then re-optimized.

Hi Marek,

Somehow PTGui decided that your panorama spans 720 degrees, so it
arranges the images into two full panoramas on top of each other. I'll
see if this can be fixed. With some manual work you can get a good
result, see John's project file.
