Hi recently my PTGUi crash after I select create panorama few sek after I PTGUi crash i try to use Shift during the start and switch off GPU acceleration.

GPU 4090

Ram DDR5 128

CPU  i9-14900K   3.20 GHz

PTGUi 11.32

I try studio and Game driver ant try older driver 560.70 export to jpg instead Tif and using JPG instead of tif nothing help

Hi Mariusz,

PTGui 11 is no longer supported; if it's caused by a bug in PTGui 11
then purchasing the upgrade to PTGui 13 would be the only option. GPU
issues aside, I'm not aware of any issues causing PTGui to crash
consistently.

I have seen several cases of inexplicable crashes on Intel i9-14k CPUs
though. This can happen when the CPU is clocked too high or is run at
too high voltage. This is also said to cause permanent problems.

If GPU acceleration is disabled, the GPU is not used at all by PTGui, so
the type of GPU or the driver version doesn't matter.

If you have another computer, you might want to try if it succeeds
stitching the panorama. If it's indeed caused by the CPU, google might
give further information.

Hi Mariusz,

I've analyzed the two crash reports you sent me, and from what I can see
the crashes are caused by memory corruption in your computer. PTGui
stores data somewhere in memory, and the data has changed later on. If
this happens with a memory pointer, PTGui will start reading/writing to
invalid addresses and Windows will terminate the application.

So I think it's a hardware issue. You have an i9-14900K which is known
to develop such issues when under specific loads. Tweaking the bios
settings may be helpful. It's not related to the GPU since you've
disabled GPU acceleration already.

The project would stitch fine on another computer. Feel free to make the
files available if you would like me to try that.
