Hi,

How do you manage to add precise control points manually on a Mac?

I feel a little impaired right now, just moved from PC to Mac and this is a real annoyance to me. Surely there must be a way to slow down the mouse when adding control points right? Where and how???

On Windows I would press the ALT key to slow down the mouse and allow finer adjustments to lay the control point on the right spot, my Mac as an ALT key too, but doesn't work, nor doesn't the OPTION, CONTROL or FUNCTION, I even tried the COMMAND button, but no, nothing slows down this Magic Mouse!

And the help button on that screen doesn't leave much hope either:

  • Hold down Alt to enable the 'mouse slow down' feature when not dragging control points (not available on Mac OS X)
  • Hold down Ctrl or Ctrl + Alt to slow the mouse down by an extra factor of 8 (not available on Mac OS X)
Joost, why is it that such simple and really useful functions aren't available on Mac OS X?

My best regards
Os melhores cumprimentos

But if I add a pair of control points over the images, THEN, I can adjust it really well at slow mouse speeds, but who wants to have double the work?
I just need a way to slow down the mouse when I am adding the control points in the first time, that's it!

Anyone found a workaround for this?

Just click where you want it hold the mouse down and use the arrow
keys to adjust.
