generate control points jumps to image list

Hi all, long time no coming here (which is good and bad at same time)

Hope all is well with everyone

I'm trying to align 239 DNG photos (imported twice) of qoocam 

They all loaded, system is quiet now

What i did

imported 1 (x2) and added CP's

imported all the others and grouped them into 1 and 2 so they all get the same masks and position

ungrouped

F5 jumps to image list. click on run optimizer works

generate control points while on CP's screen does nothing

generate control points for overlapping jumps to image list

so ... may be my pc fried ?

I'll try with less images and with jpg and see what happens (but i need this for all this images :) )

Had to close ptgui and open it again for it to stop that behaviour

Tried with 30 images x2 and working now.

I know and understand why i'm getting 60 files but is there any way to re-stitch those now?

Will try now with all the files again

Hi Rui,

I'm not sure if I understand what you are trying to do.

Is this for a time lapse? In that case, you would create a template and
use that template in the batch builder. Don't attempt to stitch all
images together in a single project.

Hi Joost , nice to hear from you

i'm doing weird things, as usual with PTGUI

It is for a timelapse but the camera rotated. It is a qoocam 3 ultra

One issue I solved just now while typing... I believe the qoocam studio (or the camera itself) although it is in tripod the gyroscope reports tiny variations so the photo were jumping a bit and i needed to stabilize that

The other issue i add was that i had to touch the camera and it rotated and i wanted a regular 360 timelapse with all photos aligned

in the end it worked with adding (the full) panos in parts and generating cp's on the way

I did 100 at a time so i ended with all the panos in the same project and aligned and working

I did find weird the jump to "source files"  when i clicked the "generate control points"
