Hello, I would like to ask for guidance regarding exporting a large panorama for web use.
Panorama details: Resolution: approximately 3.3 gigapixels Type: partial panorama (about 90° horizontal × 20° vertical, not 360°) The panorama is already stitched and saved as a single TIFF file
I was not able to create a working multiresolution web version from PTGui (version 12.27)
Main question: I would like to know whether PTGui supports the following workflow and how it should be done correctly. Specific questions: Is PTGui designed to handle multiresolution web export from a single stitched TIFF of this size? Are there recommended settings (projection, tile size, JPEG quality, number of levels) for exporting very large non-360 panoramas? I want to generate multiresolution web panorama that works reliably across devices (PC, laptop, smartphones..)
Thank you very much for your assistance.
Best regards, Mamuka Tsiskarauli

Hi,

PTGui should be able to stitch your panorama, but for publishing you'll
need to use another tool. The Publish To Website tool does not support
multi resolution, so it's only useful for smaller panoramas.

You might want to look into using Pano2VR, KRPano or MarziPano.
