PTGui Viewer does not render partial panoramas correctly

In PTGui Viewer v2.11 partial panoramas are not rendered correctly. With the term "partial panoramas" i mean spherical panoramas in equirectangular projection that contain blank regions.

In the following link i attach an example panorama image that presents the wrong behavior when opened from PTGui Viewer, along with a screen recording of the same image opened from the open source android app Aves ( https://github.com/deckerst/aves ) which handles the rendering of the image correctly:

You will notice that even though the image does not contain complete 360 data, the PTGui Viewer renders the image as if it is a 360 image. It might be possible to fix using the XMP-GPano metadata section?
