Hi,
When I save a panorama as a PSD file and then import that to Lightroom Classes, all I see is just a black rectangular box. This is on my new Apple Mac Studio.

Hi Pieter,

You're right. Lightroom doesn't support layered PSD files, and PTGui
doesn't include a preview image with the merged layers.

If you don't need the individual layers, you can create a 'flattened'
PSD file, see the Settings button in the Create Panorama tab.

If you do need a layered file then you would need to use Photoshop, not
Lightroom.

Kind regards,

But saving as flattened psd file doesn't solve the issue of having a black rectangle as a preview. It would be great to at least have the option to generate a preview on rendering to be able to have a preview image of a psd or a psd file, just to be able to handle the rendered panos well in image catalogs. As of now, I have to open every single psd file and save them again to generate a preview, and this is unnecessaryily time consuming, just to be able to view them in my catalog (for which I use Photo Mechanic).

Hi Martin,

Understood, I'll add this to the wish list.

Kind regards,
