Assertion failed in TnhspTask.cpp, line 2582 (version 13.3)

Hi,

I switched today from exporting TIFF files to using DNG files from LrC v14.5.1 and ran into this assertion failure with the DNG files (from NEF.) It looks like I have at least one instance of the assertion for each file in the project. Not sure what the assertion means and so not sure what I might do about it (except maybe switching back to TIFFs.)

Hi Tom,

It's an internal error, it appears to be related to GPU acceleration.
Could you try disabling this in Options - Advanced?

Does it happen when loading even 1 image? I can try to reproduce the
issue if you could make an image available for download.

Hi Joost,

A quick test with a subset of files used did not result in repeating the
error. There may be an interaction with LrC (it was running when the
errors first occured) or it may require a larger group of files. Once I
work out the minimum configuration to cause the problem I'll send
further info.

Hi Joost,

So far, what I'm seeing:

• errors don't seem related to HW acceleration 
• errors appear to be related to working on a new project while the batch stitcher is working
