Hello,

I just got the Osmo 360 II, and it can finally shoot RAW photos however, the DJI Studio App still can't stitch and export these into photo files.  When will the Osmo 360 II be compatible with PTGui?  Here's some sample files if it helps.  I'm also open to capturing more samples, just let me know.  Thanks!

Jesse, I've attached a rough project file that can be used as a template after adding an image twice, but for calibration purposes you need to take two shots, panning the camera around through 90 degrees  between them.  For more details, see the topic "Insta 360 X6 DNG stitching workflow" from 2 days ago.

Hi Jesse,

Thanks for the images, I'll include a profile for this camera in the
next PTGui.

Kind regards,

Thanks for the template John!  When you say, capture it twice, panning the camera around 90 degrees between the shots, is this what PTGui needs me to do to create a profile, or is this the recommended way to shoot period?

Jesse,  Taking two shots with maximum image overlap is needed only for creating an adequate template project file.  A wide spread of control points can then be created to help the optimizer evaluate a set lens parameters that correct for deviations from an assumed perfect fisheye lens model.  With only a single shot, the pair of images overlap only in a narrow ring around the edge of the image circle where control points can be created.  The optimizer then can know nothing about the very large inner area, where deviations from the lens model cannot be detected and corrected.
