This is a stitched work made from 37 shots taken with a DJI drone. I clearly used the 'Blending' function and achieved a relatively good result (see Image 1 - preview),:
Image 1 - preview.jpg

but after using 'Create Panorama' to export it, it turned out like this (see Image 2 - after export).
Image 2 - after export.jpgWhat should I do?

Hi,

Could you try disabling GPU acceleration and see if that solves the
issue? You can do this in Options - Advanced.

Kind regards,

Hello, my "GPU Acceleration" feature is already turned off, but the issue still hasn't been resolved. My computer is a Mac with an M4 Max chip, and the system version is 15.5.

Hi,

Are you using PTGui 13.2?

Could you make your project available for download so I can try to
reproduce the issue?

Kind regards,

Hello, yes, I just purchased the latest professional version from the official website yesterday. I’ve tried several sets of drone photos, but none of them worked. The issue is that after the “optimizer” completes successfully, the preview looks normal — the optimization effect is great, and the stitching is seamless. However, once the panorama is exported, the optimization results are lost, and strange seams appear at the stitching points, which look very different from what I saw after optimization. For example, in the following set:

Image 1 - after the “optimizer”,the optimization effect is great:

Image 1 -preview.jpg

Image 2 - once the panorama is exported, the optimization results are lost:Image 2 -after export.jpg

I'm wondering if the issue might be due to the high resolution of my photos — could it be that PTGui is unable to handle optimization and export for such large images? The set I just mentioned consists of 42 photos, each with a resolution of around 12,288 × 8,192 pixels. Would it be possible for you to provide your email address so I can send you the original files?

This image shows the Panorama Editor, but what does the created panorama
actually look like?

In one of the screen shots the Blending menu is visible. You set the
Blending precision to 1/4. With this setting the seam finding takes much
longer than with 1/8, which is the default. Wait for the small spinner
down left to stop.

I can't identify the setting for "Blender". Could it be it is
"Multiband"? That would easily explain the strange seams in one of your
screenshots. Try "Zero overlap" instead.

Ah yes, good find Erik

Multiband blending only works with optimum seams if the brightness
difference between source images is small.

In this case you either need to use the 'Zero Overlap' blender with
Optimum Seams, or if you want to use the Multiband blender, disable
'find optimum Seams'.

The high resolution is no problem for PTGui. Please see my other reply,
switch to Zero Overlap blending to solve the issue.

Hello,The problem lies not in "Blending", but in the fact that the results of "optimization" disappear once they are produced.

Sorry, this is a misconception. "Optimization" in context of PTGui
always refers to the optimization of control point distances only. What
you see in Panorama Editor is the result of Blending.

> Image 2 - once the panorama is exported, the optimization results are lost:

So there is a different Blending after export.

In your Image 1 the small spinner in the bottom left corner is still
running, which indicates, that Blending is not ready yet. That would
account for the difference in both versions.

Go to the Blending side menu, and as a first measure, pull the Precision
slider to the left until it shows 1/8. That will speed up the process.
If you're not happy with the blending after the spinner stopped, you can
try to use different settings (try any combinations):
- Switch off "Find optimum seams"
- Choose a different Blender

Always wait until the spinner stops before you judge the result. If
you're not happy with some seams (you can see them if the mouse is
inside the image), try to use masks on Mask Tab. There are some
tutorials for this on https://ptgui.com/ Learn menu.
