Hello,

I am trying to stitch an HDR panorama, but I had an error "Could not delete file: .../Temp/ptg_10400_AGVM3G.tif" and I can't finish it. As I checked it looks like the software make some files in Temp directory as read only.

I can finish stitching without HDR or in HDR Exposure Fusion.

Please help me with any solution or clue about this problem.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Vaidas,

Is the temp folder on an internal hard disk of your computer? If it's an
external drive could you try using an internal drive? It could be a
driver or hardware problem.

Otherwise I can only imagine this to be cause by an external application
such as a virus scanner interfering with PTGui's temp files. PTGui does
not create the files read only.

Hi Joost,

Yes, hard disk is internal and there is enough free space (~100GB). We tried to stitch this HDR panorama on three computers (everywhere was Windows 7; computers had 8GB RAM; Intel 4CPUs more than 2.1Ghz), but there was the same problem. We also tried to disable antivirus, but nothing changed.

Actually there were two errors on every computer - sometimes appears error "Could not delete file .../Temp/ptg_00000_XXXXX.tif" and sometimes appears error "Smartblend failed: somehow the output file was not generated. This might be due to a lack of memory or disk space, please try to stitch at lower output size."

The max size of image is 13900 (the max image on preview 1132). I tried to set for using 1 processor or usage of RAM memory, but nothing helped.

Shame that I can't work at the moment.
I will appreciate any help and suggestions.

Best regards,
Vaidas

Hi Vaidas,

Have you tried the PTGui blender instead of smartblend? Using Smartblend
for blending is a no go because it will place the seams at different
locations in each blend plane. And smartblend is limited in the size of
images it can handle.
