Hi Walter,
When saving the project file, PTGui first saves it to a temporary file
(...Panorama.pts_tmp5N4R22). When finished, it renames the temporary
file to the actual file (..Panorama.pts). This avoids problems if saving
the file fails halfway.
In this case the first step succeeds, but renaming fails, it is denied
by macOS. I can't say for sure why, but it might be a permissions
problem. Perhaps there is already a file with that name on the disk, but
written by a different macOS user. Then macOS will refuse to overwrite
the file, and PTGui can only report an error.
You could try saving the project with a different name, or if the file
already exists, delete it, before saving in PTGui.
Also make sure the disk is not full.
Kind regards,
Joost Nieuwenhuijse
