Hi! I am trying to test ENBLEND plugin. I followed the PTGui instructions, but I have a question. What is the "enblend executable"?

The enblend executable is the file "enblend.exe".  Have you downloaded it from https://sourceforge.net/projects/enblend/ ?

Thank you John for your reply. I downloaded this folder from https://sourceforge.net/projects/enblend/ When I unzip the file, I can't see the enblend.exe

I read this instructions:

++++++++++

For Mac download the file enblend-enfuse-xx.yy-mac.tar.gz and extract the contents to your computer. In PTGui, go to Preferences, Plugins tab. At 'Enblend application' point to the 'enblend' executable from the archive. To use Enblend, choose 'Blend using: Enblend plugin' on the Create Panorama tab in PTGui.

++++++++++

So, my question is... What is the "enblend executable"? Because I see a lot of files, but I can't see the EXE file. I searched the "enblend.exe", but I can't see it.

I'm afraid I'm a Windows user, so cannot be of much assistance. It may be that you can run the Windows version under Wine.  There are instructions for running Smartblend (similar Windows program) here: https://wiki.panotools.org/Smartblend_on_Mac .  Maybe you can do something similar with Enblend. Perhaps some Mac users will chime in.

I'm not a mac user either, but from the content of the downloaded file
I'd assume this is source code only. I fear the only binary download of
enblend is in the hugin package currently.

May I ask why you want to use enblend?

Hi Erik!

I use normally PTGui Blender. However, I am preparing a complete video course of PTGui in Spanish. I need to check all possibilities in order to see the differences of each option in PTGui. For curiosity, for learn more...  I will test the Smartblend option with Wine for Mac.

I am not programmer, so follow the instruction of how use Enblend in Mac... I downloaded the file from the official link, but the documentation about Enfuse is little bit complicated for me. And I can see the EXE file :(

.exe files are windows executables. They might run under wine,
paralleles or whatever windows emulator you have but not directly on mac.

Hi Mario,

I found a mac version of Enblend 4.0 here:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/enblend/files/enblend-enfuse/enblend-enfuse-4.0/

The later versions seem to be available only for Windows and as source code.

Kind regards,
