Hey,
does PTGui read Exif data like GPS Direction and XMP GPano Tags and would it help with stitching?

Because I get sometimes bad stitching (see attachment) and have to manually adjust it, which is not ideal if you have to do40-80 panoramas.

Looks like a single misplaced image, probably the zenith one, where
there are no features for control points. It should be relatively easy
to drag it roughly in place in Pano Editor and eventually nail it with
some manual control points set roughly in the clouds.

If you shoot all panoramas with the same shooting pattern you can use a
previous successful project as a template.

For future panoramas it might be a good idea to shoot zenith images not
straight (90°) up, but only 70° or so. Just enough to fill the zenith
hole. This way you might include some horizon, which should give PTGui
the chance to find some control points automatically.

Sometimes you just need a nudge in the right direction.
I selected the right template but choose 'run align images for each project' 🤦‍♀️

Thanks anyway.
