Extracting a single photo view from a panoramic equirectangular image?

Is it possible to extract a photograph from a panoramic image using PTGui? I can screen-grab the view I need as a PNG file and edit in Photoshop, but the resolution and quality of the original image is reduced (from around 8mb to 3mb, with a consequent loss of detail).

I feel it is but I just cannot find any topic that covers this?

Hope someone can hope!

(The panoramic image I am working with was taken using a DJI Mavic 2 Pro in panoramic mode)

Hi Mark,

Basically you just need to switch the Panorama Editor to rectilinear
projection.
