PTGui startup error

Hello. I recently purchased a license for PTGui Pro. I had previously had a demo version on my computer and decided to purchase a full license. I removed the Demo version and installed the full version. However, when I start the app now, I get an error message:

ptgui_pro_reg

Could not open file for writing: /tmp/nh142_ptgtempid:

Undefined error: 0 (0x00)

I am installing on a Mac Pro (Late 2013) running Mac OSX Monterey Version 12.6.3. Any help that could be provided would be appreciated. Thank you.

For future forum readers: this was solved by starting the macOS Terminal
and typing:

sudo chmod 1777 /private/tmp

PTGui needs to be able to write to the /tmp folder, which is mapped to
/private/tmp on macOS. For some reasons the permissions of this folder
had been corrupted. The chmod command fixes this.
