Hey!

Hoping for some insight on large batch stitching of images.

I have 25000+ images from a Enlaps Tikee, that I need to stitch the high res DNG files together. Would this be the best software to use? And if so, how can i best set up the software to read the files as each is nubmered i.e 1225_L 1225_R for left and right of the image.

Hi Chris,

PTGui Pro should be able to do this:

You first need to create a template. Do this by stitching one set of
images manually in PTGui. When the result is satisfactory, do File ->
Save As Template.

Then you can use the Batch Builder in PTGui Pro to stitch the remaining
24999 panoramas:

Go to Tools - Batch Builder
Click Detect Panoramas
Method: Multiple Panoramas per folder with a fixed number of images
Images per panorama: 2
click Detect Panoramas

Select 'Use Template:' and pick the template you just created.
Select Send the generated batch list to the Batch Stitcher
And click Generate Projects

One thing to keep in mind is that the cameras in the Tikee are quite far
apart. This parallax will cause some stitching errors on nearby objects.

Kind regards,
