What parameters do I need to add to run -stitchnogui?

Hi,

If you are shooting multiple panoras in the same way, with the same
number of images and the same overlap, you can create a template.
Provide this template with the -template flag together with -createproject.

For one-off panoramas there's no automatic solution. For single rows of
images, PTGui will assume it's a horizontal panorama. You can rotate
the panorama in the panorama editor and then press Fit Panorama.

Why it's not centered I don't know; I would need the images to find out.

Kind regards,

Hi,

In the Project Settings, you need to uncheck this box: "Straighten
Panorama". See attached screenshot.

Do this before running Align Images.

When stitching from the command line, you need to create a template as
follows:

- File - New Project
- Click Advanced
- Go to Project Settings and uncheck "Straighten Panorama"
- File - Save As Template

Then run PTGui from the command line as follows:

START "" /WAIT "C:\Program Files\PTGui\PTGui.exe" -createproject
img1.jpg img2.jpg [...] -output project.pts -template template.pts
-stitchnogui project.pts

(replace with your own files). This results in a vertical panorama.
There will still be empty space above or below, this cannot be removed
automatically, I'm sorry.

Kind regards,

After using the template, the image is vertical. I found that as long as Panorama Centering and Panorama Fit are selected, the black space above can be removed. Is there a corresponding command for this in the non-interface version? If not, could you provide the calculation process for Panorama Centering and Panorama Fit?

I'm sorry, this cannot be done from the command line.

To center vertically, internally, PTGui iteratively applies a numerical
transform until the maximum and minimum pitch angle above and below the
horizon are the same but opposite.

For example: min=-50, max=20: PTGui applies a numerical transform of +15
degrees pitch. This is repeated a few times.

I'm afraid that implementing this yourself would not be trivial.
