Hello people. I have a gigapan epic pro to make gigapixel panos but I'm atrying to get a Ronin RS 2 to do the same if possible (up to a 200mm lens) since it's only one thing to carry on a trip to the mountains. But I did a test and PTGUI is giving me a lot of stitching errors after I put the grid details (number of columns, rows and overlap, which ronin says it's 30%). Has anyone has tried this function of the ronin and can help?
Much appreciated

I have no experience of the Ronin head, but if it appears to go through the motions of taking the planned shots and you initialise their positions in PTGui with Align to Grid, then the panorama should appear more-or-less correct in the Panorama Editor window before running the Align Images function.  Is this the case?  If you subsequently run Align Images or create control points and optimize manually and then get stitching errors, these may be due to parallax issues or badly positioned control points or subject movement, as in any other panorama project.  You can easily check to see if you are getting the expected 30% overlap.  Have you identified where things are not quite going as expected?  There are Facebook user groups for the head which may be useful for getting specific help.
