Hi, until now I used PT Gui with my DSLR.
Now that I want to use it with my new  Insta 360 One X2 to fix the stitching lines which are very visible, I can't find my way around.
Please help, thanks.20210401_112636_012- small.jpg

Doesn't the Insta 360 only offer a single equirectangular image (as shown above)?
I don't think PTGui can do anything to fix an already stitched image..

Interesting. Looks like the RAWs (probably) are of the double fisheye type.
(point 10 in the FAQ section: https://360rumors.com/insta360-one-x2/)

It can even do exposure bracketing up to 9 images. Nice.
Anyway you probably knew all that, but i didn't.

So yes, PTGui should be able to stitch it.

Well I tried to stitch a DNG from the Insta360 One X2 in PtGui (version 11.28). According to the documentation (https://www.ptgui.com/support.html#6_43) PtGUI should add the "double fisheye" DNG automatically twice. Unfortunately it doesn't work. :( Any advice on how to stitch it with PtGUI?

I have tried to cheat. I copied the DNG and imported it twice into PtGUI. Now image 1 must be tilted by +90 and image 2 by -90 degrees. But stupidly the cropping does not work. PtGui always crops the identical circle out of both images (independent of the tilt). I would have to make two different crops, but I can't do that. Can't the images be cropped independently from each other?

In the Crop tab there's a checkbox 'individual position', which allows
you to move the cropping circles independently.

Could you make a DNG available for download so I can take a look?

Thomas, You need to select individual shift and crop parameters for the two images:  to do this, select Advanced mode and go to the Lens Settings tab.
