I am trying to make a panorama in Standard and Pro version. It is composed of 238 images and is a multi-row panorama.
On Pro version the stitching process works correctly and there's a progress bar showing how far the process has gone through.
On the standard version, however, the bar is hanged from the start, and the cache is used in an unrealistic way, about 1GB/s sometimes.
I am trying the app now in trial mode, and the standard version is enough for me, feature-wise. However, if it will not work due to what looks like recursive use of disk I will not be able to use it.
Machine details:
macOS 13.5.1
CPU: M1 Max
Macbook pro 16"
Would very much appreciate any help anyone could give me :)

Hi Shay,
I would expect it to be the other way round. The Pro version does
Optimum Seam Placement, which can be very slow for large panoramas. The
standard version cannot do this and will stitch faster. Optimum seam
placement can be disabled though.
But if the standard version is slower: could you try switching to Zero
Overlap blending? You can do this in the Panorama Editor, in the right
hand side bar, in the Blending section. The standard version uses
Multiband blending by default, the Pro uses Zero Overlap blending. It's
not supposed to be slower, but that's the only thing I can think of that
would make a difference.
Kind regards,
