Im stitching raw images captured with a Canon EOS 6D ( CR2 files), and when PTGUI imports the individual images  they appear a purple monochrome color.
The images are stitched just fine but the resulting panorama is also a purple monochrome image.
If I convert the CR2 files to Tiff before importing into PTGUI they come in just fine.
This is a new camera so these are the first images I've tried to stitch but I haven't had any issue with PTGUI processing Canon raw files from 2 other camera models ( g12 and 20D)
The image files are about 23MB each (one just under the other just over) so I didn't append here but I can do that if needed

Im using a
iMac 21.5 inch
2.9 GHz Intel Core i5
16GB Ram
Mac OS 10.8.3   with  current camera raw updates

and PTGui Pro 9.1.7

Thanks
Gary

Hi Gary,

The 6D raw files are not supported by the version of the raw converter
(dcraw) included with PTGui. A new version will be included in a next
update. For the time being you'd need to use your raw converter and
stitch TIFF files in PTGui.

Kind regards,

If you do a conversion anyway, why not convert to 16 bit TIFF? ACR 7
gives you superb results...

Hi, I'm using the latest version here and still facing this problem. Any idea how to get ride of the purple monochrome?

Hi,

This means your camera is not supported by dcraw. You will need to use
TIFF or JPEG images instead.

For more information see 3.8:
