I have not used 13.3 for a while. Today, however every file format I imported into 13.3, JPG, DNG, TIFF has a very deep purple color cast. Very difficult proceed. I deleted the program and reinstalled. No Luck.

If I do create a panorama, the colors are correct.

I use a Dell Laptop XPS with latest windows 11. I used DXO Photolab 9 to create the 3 different files with good color. Please help me fix this.

Bruce, Does the purple cast only occur with files created by DXO Photo lab?  If so, I suggest you supply a sample file for investigation.

Files straight out of the camera into 13.3, deep purple overcast in editing, but regular color in final pano.

Bruce,  Your original post says that the fault happens with raw, jpg and tiff files output from Photolab.  Large sample files can be uploaded to a file sharing service such as wetransfer.com (free) and a link provided here.

Purple casts have been reported before for cameras not yet supported by the raw converter that PTGui employs, but tiff and jpg should be ok.  Your sample jpeg file displays in PTGui fine.  You can check to see if your camera is supported here:

Bruce, you said that only the display inside PTGui is faulty, the
created panorama looks fine.

Does this occur with any source image? Even these ones?
https://ptgui.com/images/tutorial2.zip

PTGui is trying to display the images in your monitor's color profile.
If the problem occurs for any images you are loading, then this might be
at fault.

Could you send me the output of Help - System Information in PTGui?

You can open Windows Color Management options by typing "Color
Management" in the start menu. Could you show me a screenshot from that
window?

Kind regards,

Hi Bruce,

I see this in the system information:

Display color profiles: (Canon PRO-100 <GD> 2 Other Glossy Paper, Canon
PRO-100 <GD> 2 Other Glossy Paper)

So it seems that a printer color profile is attached to your monitor.

Someone, some app, or something else seems to have messed with your
windows color settings.

Could you open Windows Color Management options by typing "Color
Management" in the start menu. Then in the drop down list, select your
monitor. And then could you make a screenshot and post it here?

Kind regards,
