From windows explorer: Right click on & send ONE fish-eye (.DNG) photos to PTGUI results in double the images appearing! (Only happens with fish-eye, not equirectangular photos.)

Each "fish-eye" file is imported in duplicates

GETS WORSE:
Sending multiple [bracketed] fish-eye (.DNG) photos to PTGUI results in double the images appearing!

3 images were sent here from explorer...  PTGUI doubles them up (SEND 3 PHOTOS, YOU GET 6) so 3 must either be removed OR ignored:

Each "fish-eye" file is imported in duplicates:

Thank you John.
Had things working fine but just seems strange....

Send one "double fish-eye" file from windows and it shows up twice in PTGui.
(Once for the front side & a second time for the back.)

Hi Robert,

This is by design, it's not a bug. PTGui recognizes your camera and
knows that it produces a file containing two fisheye images.

It loads the same image twice. Each copy of the image gets a different
cropping circle (check the crop tab). Effectively the result is what you
would get if you cut the image in two halves and load each half image
into PTGui.

This behavior can be disabled if you want:

- File - New Project
- Click Advanced
- Go to Project Settings
- Miscellaneous - Support dual fisheye lens panoramic cameras: 'No, load
as a regular image'
- File - Make Default

Kind regards,

Joost Nieuwenhuijse
