Hello,
I am new to panoramic photography having a little experience with the trial version of PTGui. My general needs are stitching 6-8 bracketed images, but in some cases 62 TIFF images up to 145 MB in size. I would like to know what is the optimal PC hardware for PTGui Pro to work in such conditions. I have read the PTGui support page but there is not enough information to assemble a new computer optimized for PTGui. Could anyone suggest which CPU, GPU and motherboard are optimal? What is the optimal capacity of the PTGui scratch disk? Is the SATA SSD good enough for this or is NVME recommended?

Hi Peeter,

It's difficult to say what exactly would be optimal, but if you get a pc
with 64GB of RAM, a 1TB nvme disk and a 300 EUR/USD GPU it should run
quite well.

Kind regards,
