Hi Wiso,
You could place 'horizontal line' control points and 'vertical line'
control points. This tells PTGui that those points should form a
horizontal or vertical line in the panorama.
After adding the points, run the optimizer or do 'Level Panorama' in the
Panorama Editor -> Edit menu.

Note that, as the video explains, for equirectangular (spherical)
panoramas, you would only use 'vertical line' control points. For
rectilinear panoramas you can use both vertical and horizontal line
control points. This is because rectilinear projection preserves all
straight lines, not just the vertical ones.
