Ptgui 13 is very slow for some reason

Hello!

I was wondering of anyone could avise me on something which has been happening since I upgraded to Ptgui 13 (currently on version 13.2).

It's become very slow in pretty much every aspect of the process; merging RAWs to HDR, aligning, previewing, loading full quality images for masking and final stitching.

It takes at least twice as long to do these things as it did in Ptgui 12 and previous versions.

My specs are the same as they have been in the past when things went a lot faster:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16-Core Processor

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

128GB RAM

And I'm stitching RAW CR3 files from my Canon R5 - as I did before.

Does anyone know what might be going on, please?

PTGui 13 should not be much slower than v 12, as long as you use the
same settings (namely blending and seam placement). However, both are
likely slower than v 11.

You can install PTGui 12 and 13 side by side. See 3.29:

Could you do this and measure the time needed for some operations?

And then make your files available for download so I can reproduce this?
