Hello,

I am currently using PTGui Pro and running it via the command line interface (CLI). I would like to ask:

  1. When performing image stitching (panorama generation) through the CLI, is CUDA GPU acceleration supported?

  2. Is parallel processing available for speeding up the stitching process?

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi,

CUDA is not supported, PTGui uses OpenCL. This is also available on
nvidia GPUs.

PTGui also uses multiple CPU cores where possible. One bottleneck is
optimum seam placement though; this cannot be parallized well over
multiple cores. And for large panoramas, disk swapping may be a
bottleneck. So 100% cpu usage will not be achieved.

Kind regards,
