Is it possible to embed an image (company logo etc.) at the zenith or
nadir point using your software?

Sure. Provide it as a TIFF with alpha channel mask (f.e. a circular
mask) and move it to zenith or nadir by manually setting pitch value.
Output as a PSD (or PSB) with layers, enable the layer and flatten in
photoshop. You can use the same layer in multiple panoramas by dragging
it to another document in photoshop.

If you own Pano2Vr, you can make the logo "float". As you pan around,
the logo stays at the same orientation. Not difficult at all to do.
Once you get it set up, you can "save as default" and all your
panoramas will have the floating logo.

Of course you have to stitch first with PTGui.

That's funny - I own Pano2VR and use it weekly - did not realize it did
that!

Hi,

Here's a tutorial (5.10):

You also have the Patch facility in Pano2VR which is designed for putting in Logos (which rotate with the pano) see http://gardengnomesoftware.com/tutorial.php?movid=09

In Pano2VR, open the skin in the editor, add a hot spot, name the hot
spot, add an image (.png) to the hot spot. Save the skin and close
the editor. Go back to the main screen and add a point hot spot to
the bottom of the image. Make sure to tell Pano2VR the name of the
pre defined hot spot you want to use. Save and close the project.
Open the project in notepad. Change the "tilt" (I think) patramter to
-90. Save and close. Open the project and "set as default". All of
this has to be done only 1 time. Each and every panorama you do from
this point on will have your floating logo with no further action on
your part. No patching or editing and such. Do once, use many.
