PT Gui License

We have an issue where we cannot use our licences for PT Gui. When we start PT Gui it asks for our licence code. When we enter the code it does not validate the software and gives us the error message: 'Could not open file for writing: C:\ProgramData\PTGui\reg.dat: Access is denied. (0x05)'. Could we please have some advice

Hi,

You can probably resolve this by deleting the entire folder
C:\ProgramData\PTGui
This can be deleted safely.

When you start PTGui again, it will ask for your license key. For the
company license you will be given the choice to install the license for
all users on the computer, or for the current user only. To prevent the
issue, it's best if you choose to install it for the current user only.

If you install it for all users, you need to make sure that the folder
C:\ProgramData\PTGui\
is writeable by all users.
