By chance (I had to change this setting a long time ago), I have a pc that mounts images with PtGui using the CPU (Ryzen 9 5950x [16 cores]+ RTX 3070) and on the other pc it uses the GPU (Ryzen 5900x [12 cores]+ Radeon RX 6700 XT). I understand that this must be the result of OPTIONS>advanced> enable GPU.
I have the impression that the batch stitcher goes faster on the PC that has the GPU disabled CPU: 5950x than the PC that uses the Radon RX 6700 XT. However the computation time that is also important for me is the time to see the modified image in the panorama editor after mask modifications.
I wonder if there are users who have made comparisons between these different hardware options 5950x, 5900x, rtx 3070, 6700xt?
If it goes faster in batch stiticher does it mean that it will also go faster to render the preview after mask modifications?
