Hi Joost

I'm sure you have been asked this before in the forum but after a quick search I thought I would ask again

PTGui Pro has the ability to "Publish to Website", however, this method generates a file folder with many files that need to uploaded via Ftp to
the web site providers server. My provider "Weebly" does not have this facility so I have to  find other ways to get my immersive panos up on my site

Although not difficult to do it is a pain in having to have many other steps in the workflow and using other ways and providers to get the job done.

Weebly does have the ability for me to upload an embed code (HTML <iFrame> embed code.)

My question is do you at New House is do you have in mind to develop an embed code way for us to upload our work to our websites.? or any other thoughts to this problem?

Another question to the wider forum is how do others upload to their sites and which other web hosting services provide a better way for uploading our work

Thanks in anticipation

Trevor

Hi Trevor,

The iframe allows you to embed a web page from another web server in
your web page. The panorama would still need to be uploaded somewhere
though. There are several hosting platforms already where you can upload
your panorama, I don't plan to start another such service. See 6.15,
scroll down to 'if you don't have a website..':

Kind regards,

Hi Joost

Thanks for the quick reply as always.

I already use a number of the hosting sites you outline in the support pages and fully understand the rationale why you don't want to set up a new service.

I'm just trying to lighten the load on using many other services to get my work into my website ………… anyway I may have to bite the bullet and go to a host such as WordPress as they have
great 3rd party apps available such as Geopress360 …….Just didn't want to have to go back and learn a new round or web publishing, CSS and such again

Again thanks for the help and for making PTGui the best stitcher
