Hi Joost,

first let me say that it was a pleasure to meet you in Vienna again.

Besides the little improvement in the loading files dialog I would
like to ask you for another favor.
(Probably this is already documented, in this case please just point
me into the right direction).

Yesterday I realized that in the mask tab there are some very helpful
keyboard-shortcuts that significantly improve the speed of my workflow
(as I always prefer keyboard hits over mouse movements).

For those who are not yet aware of it, try the R, G, E, and CTRL
buttons (WIN).

I would love to know if there are any more shortcuts implemented in
PTGui that I am not aware of ^^

Best regards
Jürgen

Hi Jürgen,

I like shortcuts too and have often thought of asking for a
comprehensive glossary of keyboard shortcuts for PTGui. They can
really speed up the workflow in any program.

Not always, but in many cases, the keyboard shortcuts are tersely
identified alongside of the command, feature, etc. found in the pull
down menus along the top of the interface and will vary depending on
which tabbed window your working in.

But then there seems like there are other shortcuts that Joost will
tell us about one week... and then by the time I'm trying to recall it
and use it, I end up not always remembering. So a comprehensive
listing would be most welcomed... or maybe there already is one?

Having just completed a search:

keyboard shortcuts site:ptgui.com

The only resulting page was:
http://www.ptgui.com/versionhistory.html

So maybe we could work on starting such a page like this:
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/121/tn_12105.html

Hi Jürgen and Kelly,

There are no secret shortcuts actually: all keyboard shortcuts can be found in the menu bar next to the corresponding commands..

Oops :)
As I said, probably I hadn't seen them.
And that's because I don't use menus while there are icons. (At least
those that I understand, hehe, and the red and green dots are
something that's obvious even to me).

Cheers
Jürgen

Hi Joost,

What about clicking the scroll wheel toggles between fit and 100% in
Control Point tab? Unfortunately, the same behavior (zooming) isn't
present when editing masks ...

Or Alt + right clicking toggles panning in Control Point tab (the one
I think you told us about once, but then I forgot ;) ... again,
unfortunately this isn't implemented in the Mask tab ? ...

Or Alt in Mask's tab toggles between painting and erasing ? ...

Or Ctrl + left click in Mask's tab toggles fill/ draw ?

These might not be secrets ( LoL ) but I haven't understood them from
anything read... only from exploring :)

Hi Kelly,

Ok, those are not true keyboard shortcuts but modifier keys. And they're
documented in the help file, just press F1 in the Mask tab.
