Quicktime Preview in PTGui not working.

In PtGui, my preview doesn't work. I only get this quicktime player
with a black square box in the upper right hand corner as shown in
this link:

I do have quicktime downloaded. But maybe I am missing something
basic.

Hi Mario,

Are you using 64 bit windows? QTVR on 64 bit Windows is broken.
In any case it's an Apple bug, not a PTGui problem..

You can still view QTVRs on 64 bit windows using DevalVR.

Hello Joost,

Thanks for the info.

How do I use the DevalVR player when I have PTGui open, and I click on
the preview tab and the preview button?

What I did for my first attempt is that I went Tools>options>folders
and files> unchecked Quick time player box > and in the
equirectangular JPEG view path box I put in: C:\Program Files
(x86)\DevalVR. But then when I click on the preview button I get an
error message that reads:

Execution of Command "C:Program Files (x86)\DevalVR"
C:\Users\Mario\AppData\Local\Temp\P3DC5-JPG'failed (error5:access is
denied.)

I am sure I am missing some basic detail that is not related to PTGui,
but thank you so much if you can point in the correct direction.

Hi Mario,

You should point to:
C:Program Files (x86)\DevalVR\devalvr.exe

not:

C:Program Files (x86)\DevalVR
