I have a new drone, the Mavic Pro that has the incredible ability to take panorama photos. The only drawback is that drones do not take shots above the horizon, props in the view. My panoramas are left with a big hole in the sky. There is one work around found on YouTube that suggest another photo editing software to fill in the hole. This is a tedious process that requires a lot of time, processing power and computer resources. I wouldn't expect PTGui to provide a sky fill in tool but is there a way with in the program that would allow me to limit my interactive view above the horizon or perhaps a crop feature that would give the same effect. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Hi Pierce,

All panorama web viewers have the option to limit the vertical viewing
angle. For example in PTGui Publish to Website you can set a 'max tilt'
value which sets the maximum angle you can look upwards (ie above the
horizon).

Depending on the scene it might also be possible to shoot the sky images
from the ground and combine them with the other images in the same
project. You should ensure that control points between the sky and other
images are only placed on objects far away (on the horizon). If the sky
images contain only blue sky you just need to position them roughly. See
