Is there any problem when you can see Nodal Ninja 3 head at left side of pictures at no-parallax point?

Hello support team,

We’ve adjusted camera to no-parallax point.

However, you can see Nodal Ninja 3 head at left side of pictures.

(See attached file; You_can_see_panorama_head.jpg)

Then, might there be any problem for stitching by PTGui for this size effect?

Thank you for your helps in advance.

Best regards,

Yoshi

Hi Yoshi,

It's not a problem. I have it all the time and the software removes it automatically. And if would not do it, you can mask it away.

Best regards,

Erik

Yoshi, Best practice is to hide all intrusive bits of hardware at the sides and nadir by masking or reducing the crop circle size, otherwise they may make their presence felt in the blending. OTOH, there's unlikely to be a problem if you have generous image overlaps since the affected areas should be well away from the seams. (Possibly there's somewhat greater risk at V12 with its optimized seam placement being less predictable?)

BTW, the lens doesn't appear to be an appropriate choice since you waste more than three quarters of the available pixels on the black space surrounding the image circle.
