I'm trying to make a 3D 360 degree photo from 10 cropped 180 degree photos (5 Left eye and 5 Right eye photos)

I'm using an Insta360 Theta X4 on a 360 degree rotating pan head to take 10 pictures. (1st pic is right eye, 2nd pic is left eye, 3rd pic is right eye, 4th pic is left eye, etc...)

Before loading into PTgui, I crop each 360 degree photo to the 180 degree center and load the 5 images into PTgui.

PTgiu has a difficult time matching the opposite images (not enough control points) and I only get a blank image when trying to "create panorama".

What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

In short, this is not supported. For perfect stitching, PTGui requires
that all images be taken from exactly the same viewpoint.

Some users have been succesful in creating stereo panoramas with PTGui
but it is not straightforward. For more information see 6.38:

Kind regards,
