I friend of mine asked about projections in Photoshop. I dont use Photoshop for panoramas, I use PTGui. I looked in Photoshop and there are several options for projections:

Auto
Perspective
Cylindrical
Spherical
Collage
Re-position

Perspective is probably Rectilinear and Cylindrical is Cylindrical. But what about the rest? Does anyone know what they are?

PS. Maybe this is not the right place for my question, but I know that there are people in the group that know the answer.

Those two position the images without remapping. Collage rotates them
while re-position doesn't rotate, only change position (Yaw and Pitch).
You can mimic this in PTGui if you assign a very long focal length (for
no remapping) to the input images. For re-position you'd need to fix
Roll to 0°.
