Hello everyone,

I'm preparing a Keynote ('09, version 5.1.1 and Mac 10.6.8) presentation where I wish to show spherical panoramas in .MOV using Quicktime 7.

I have searched for threads on this but I haven't found anything because I don't seem to be able to make the panos work as they normally do by clicking on the mouse and dragging it. All I'm getting is the front image, as a regular image.

I tried importing the .MOV files via "Insert" and also using the Inspector with the Quicktime icon, to no avail... Maybe I'm missing something really simple and is such a media an image or a movie?

Maybe I should consider opening the file separately and returning to the presentation after?

Thanks for any pointers in the matter.

I am afraid it is not possible. Apple let us down here.
The only solution I can give you works only if you have also a copy of Keynote '08:
If that is the case you can embed a html page (which can reside locally on your computer) in a presentation sheet.
When you import the Keynote '08 file into Keynote'09, the html embed still works and for the rest of the presentation you can use  all the bells and whistles of Keynote '09.

Thanks Karel, I was waiting for that!
But... what if I export my .key presentation to .pps and work on that and use a Windows lap top to show the  presentation?
Too bad , so, since I don't want to spend too much time on this I might just show a couple of my panos separately then at the end of my presentation.
Take care.
