Samyang 8mm F3.5 to set in LENS Settings

Hi,

can i have some help to set my lens Samyang 8mm F3.5 on the tab Lens Settings?

I get troubles with ptgui 11 v7 beta says my Nikon D7100 (APS-C) with my 8mm 3.5 is recognized as a full frame, so my stiching is wrong...

My lens is a Samyang 8mm F3.5 (1:3.58mm UMC FISHE EYE CSII)

Your lens is a fullframe fisheye lens (no part of the edge of the image circle is visible in the frame). You may specify it as a circular fisheye provided you set the crop circle so that it just touches the corners of the image or maybe smaller to cut off the poorer quality corners.  You should be able to get a similar quality stitch either way.

Hi Pierre,

I think you're confusing a full frame camera and a full frame fisheye;
those are different things.

Looking at the screenshots everything seems to be OK. The 1.5x crop is
correct and you have selected the right lens.

If you are running into stitching errors: did you use a panoramic tripod
head to eliminate parallax?

well ok i understand my LENS is fullframe, so i i don't touche the default config lens.
