I receive the following error when trying to save an editted image using the Patch Editor:

Error writing image
C:\Users\Christopher\Desktop\1031235-1cb.jpg._tmpP9T3AW:
Assertion failed: jnExifV2.cpp, line 2656

Below is a screenshot of the editor with the error and i also attach the original file that i tried to edit:

Hi Christoforos,

I'm afraid this is a bug. Could you make the files available that would
allow me to reproduce the problem? The problem might already occur if
you load one image into PTGui and create a patch image.

Kind regards,

Hello Joost,

I attach the following photos, all of which create the error that i describe in my first message.

Steps to reproduce the issue:
1) Open PTGui Pro 13.1
2) Click on "Tools" menu and select the "Patch Editor"
3) On the "Patch Editor" windows click on "Open Image" and select one of the attached images.
4) Patch a part of the image
5) Click on "File" menu and then click on "Save Image As..."
6) Select .jpg image type and 95% quality.

Then the error should appear. The above steps is just an example. For example the issue also happens for 100% quality.

Hi Christoforos,

Indeed, I can reproduce the issue.

If you need a workaround now: it seems to be due to the lack of any
metadata. If you add some metadata to the image the problem disappears.
I tried GIMP: Image - Metadata - Edit Metadata and add something to the
Author field, followed by File - Export as jpeg.

The problem will be fixed in the next update.
