I've just noticed that since updating to 13.8 that the 'pre-alignment' option is missing in 13.8.  In earlier versions, when I dropped a series of images from my drone there was a checkbox on the Project assistant tab that stated "Images are already roughly positioned.  Only search for control points in overlapping areas" and the panorama editor reflected this, showing a roughly aligned panorama.  In 13.8, this checkbox is missing, and the panorama editor only shows a single image (the first one captured).  I've looked in settings to see if there is something I need to select, but to no avail.  Is there something I am missing? For the moment I have rolled back to 13.7, which is working fine.
cheers,
Bill
