Hey all,
Just wondering if there is a way to fix this issue when using the 'zero overlap' blend mode. When there is a bright star along the stitch line, the blending mode freaks out, and creates this black region around the star.
Using the other blend mode does remove this, but the overall correction is not as good. I am on the normal version, so I do not have access to the smart seam placement.

Hi Chester,
This is a fundamental limitation of the zero overlap blender. It only
uses the edges where the images overlap. If one side of the edge runs
through a star and the other side does not, it will create a gradient to
smooth out the different colors.
Probably the optimum seam placement of the Pro version would improve
this, as it would be able to route the seams between the stars. The seam
finding precision should be set fairly high so that PTGui will see the
stars.
The alternative is to use multiband blending, as you've tried already.
