DNG file Highlight Information Lost

Hi, I am uploading RAW DNG files from Drone 360 panorama into PTGui. What I am noticing is that the highlights are losing information in PTgui. I am not able to recover all the available white date in PTgui as I can in Lightroom for instance.

Wondering if it's a bug that should be fixed in PTgui

Hi Edgar,

Yes this is a known issue. It's actually quite tricky because those
highlights are recovered from data where the green color channel is clipped.

The next PTGui update will be able to better recover those highlights,
although I expect a dedicated raw converter will still surpass it by a
slight amount.
