In PTGui, using the Editor, there are two way to corp an image. First is two use the sliders.  The second is to drag the vertical and horizontal handles.
Using the handles crops less of the image, but the cylindrical panorama looks skewed in the viewer, but the panorama created using the sliders which, removes a lot more the image
dose not look skewed. I would like use the drag method to corp my images because it dose not corp the image as much. Is there something I am not doing right.

Hi,

By default all panorama viewers require that the panorama is cropped
symmetrically vertically. In other words, if you take something off the
top of the panorama you should take the same amount off the bottom. Or
in other words, the horizon of the scene must always be in the middle of
the panorama.

This is exactly what the vertical slider does: the panorama is cropped
symmetrically around the horizon. If the panorama was taken tilted
upwards, you will end up with some black space at the bottom of the
panorama. To hide this you should restrict the viewer by setting a
minimum tilt angle. If you ise the Publish to Website tool it will allow
you to set custom limits.

Thanks Joost.

So I  use the sliders on 360 panoramas and the handles on partial panoramas and flat images?
