Hi there,  I'm considering adopting PTGui Pro at my company. We process large volumes of panoramas at once. We may get 50 folders of 25 images that need to be individually stiched and then built for instance. I'm looking at how the batch stitcher works and it feels like I would need to create a seperate project for each set of images and only then can they be sent to the batch sticher which is a bit too time consuming. Is there a way to drop tose 50 folders worth of images into a single project and for the software to recognise seperate groups and output them one by one?

Hi Sophie,

The Batch Builder in PTGui Pro can do this. See Tools - Batch Builder, press F1 for instructions.

If all panoramas were taken in a similar way, it can be helpful to provide a template. You can use the project file of a successful stitch as a template.

If you need more help just let me know!

Kind regards,

It seems that when I combine multiple sets of images in a single project the stiching fails as the software doesn't recognise seperate panoramas.

That’s right, each panorama must be in a separate project.

You can use the Batch Builder to create a large number of projects at once. Then the Batch Builder invokes the Batch Stitcher to create the panorama for each of those projects.
