How to ensure I buy the correct version, pro vs non pro

Hi

I intend to use PTGUI for astro landscape shots where the stars and twilight foreground shots are stitched into separate panoramas and then blended in GIMP.

The trial version of PTGUI does a very nice job for me.

However, how do I know whether or not I am using features available to the pro version?

My use will be very occasional and I would like not to have to buy the pro version unless

I really have to.

My workflow has been to load the images, check the camera parameters, align, preview the pano and adjust view angles and perspective, create the panoramas and then save to

16 bit TIFF. Does any of this require the PRO version?

Des, Please see the FAQ at https://ptgui.com/support.html#1_4  ( Which version should I purchase, PTGui or PTGui Pro? ).  Note that you can install the Standard and Pro versions side-by-side (including trial versions), so you can readily switch between versions when testing.  Masking and blending are likely to be the differences that would affect your choice.
