Hi everyone,

I am looking for a way to automatically set the crop boundaries (the yellow lines) to the maximum possible size that fits strictly within the image data.

Currently, I have to manually drag the crop lines to try and find the last row of pixels before the transparency starts. I want to achieve the maximum crop height possible without including any empty space/transparent pixels.

Note: I am trying to avoid using the "Fill Holes" feature; I simply want the optimal crop of the existing image data.

Thanks!

Yes this would be useful. It's on the wish list (for a long time
admittedly).

Kind regards,

If you implement this, please include some choices like "largest area",
"largest width" and "largest height", since those are not always the
same, as outlined here:
https://wiki.panotools.org/Historical:High_resolution_partial_panoramas#Cropping
Eventually also the possibility to set an aspect ratio offering both the
common ones (16:9, 16:10, 21:9 etc.) and a free input.
